   Reach Thro Private Vehicles

Hiring a taxi is too expensive to any other mode of transport. Because they need permit in both the state ie both Tamilnadu and Pondicherry, if you move from Tamilnadu. You need three states permit if you move from other south indian states. So the cheapest and best way to reach pondy is by BUS only. If you are moving as a group then taxi could be a comfortable way of travel.
