Saneeswaran temple lies in the route between Tindivanam and Pondicherry. The exact place is Moratandi, from pondicherry its only 7 Km away. If you move from Pondicherry, you have to take a mud road at the right hand side of the NH 45a. The road is dusty, riddled with potholes many sign boards are there to indicate the direction of the temple.

World tallest Saneeswarar Idol:

The campus where the temple present is named as SUN GARDEN. Before enterning into the temple you have to wash your foot in "Punniya theertham". The main idol of saneeswaran is of 23 feet in height. Nowhere in the world lord saneeswaran having this type of vishwaroopam idol. Even in the word famous thirunallar temple the height of the idol is only 1 feet(approximately).
